Biography
Max Beatty has almost twenty years of experience in representing clients both in state and federal courts, including the bankruptcy courts. His focus always remains on maximizing the outcome for his clients, in whatever role he may serve.
Max regularly represents Debtors, Creditors, Trustees, Plan Administrators, Receivers, and other fiduciaries. He frequently handles matters relating to fraudulent transfers, preferences, turnover actions, breaches of fiduciary duty, and other claims specifically designed to enlarge estates for the benefit of their creditors.
In addition to his bankruptcy work, Max has experience in handling a variety of commercial litigation claims, including breach of contract, professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, as well as other business torts in Texas courts and across the nation. He also serves as one of the panel Chapter 7 trustees appointed by the U.S. Trustee for the Southern District of Texas..

Served as bankruptcy counsel to the Texas Sandy Hook Plaintiffs in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding filed by Infowars and related companies.
Serves as general bankruptcy counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee for thirty-five oil and gas entities in the Southern District of Texas.
Serves as general bankruptcy counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee in the Southern District of Texas for a chemical manufacturer that collapsed as a result of a plant explosion.
Served as general bankruptcy counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee for a construction company located in Victoria, Texas.
Served as general bankruptcy counsel to the Chapter 7 Trustee for an oil and gas engineering firm, which includes the prosecution of Chapter 5 avoidance actions.
Represented multi-national logistics company associated with breach of contract claims against numerous parties.
Represented LED lighting and manufacturing company in prosecuting claims for breach of non-compete against former employees.
Represented the Chapter 7 Trustee in prosecution of avoidance actions related to the collapse of a Ponzi scheme related to the wine industry.
Represented a Plan Administrator as special litigation counsel in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois in prosecuting Chapter 5 avoidance actions and professional negligence claims associated with a Ponzi-like scheme involving the leasing of manufacturing equipment.
Represented post-confirmation litigation trust in the District of Nevada as special litigation counsel in prosecuting professional negligence claims and Chapter 5 avoidance actions relating to a sub-prime mortgage fraud.
